Terms and Conditions – Delikate Matgaver

Personal Data: In connection with your order, you agree that we store and use your information to fulfill our obligations to you. We will not share your personal data with third parties.

Substitute Products: In the event that a specific item is out of stock, we will provide an equivalent or better alternative of the same or higher quality. Our baskets are beautifully wrapped in cellophane with elegant bows to provide the perfect gift experience.

Right of Withdrawal and Complaints: According to the Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven) § 22 g, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that deteriorate rapidly or have a short shelf life. Since all our gift packages contain food and beverages, the entire purchase is exempt from the right of withdrawal and is considered binding once the order is placed.

If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, you must contact us immediately at post@delikatematgaver.no (at the latest within 5 working days). We follow the rules of the Consumer Purchases Act regarding complaints and will find a solution in the form of a replacement item or a refund. Please attach photos of the damage.

Refused Delivery and Uncollected Packages: The customer is responsible for ensuring the recipient is available for delivery or that the package is collected from the pickup point within the deadline.

  • Return and Disposal: If the recipient refuses to accept the gift, or if the package is not collected and is returned to us, the order will not be refunded. As our products contain food items, they cannot be resold or resent for reasons of food safety and hygiene. All food items in returned packages will be destroyed (discarded).

  • Costs: Upon return, the carrier (Bring) charges us for return shipping. The customer is responsible for this cost. If the customer wishes to send a new gift, a brand-new order must be placed at the full price.

Responsibility and Delivery Information: The customer is responsible for providing complete and correct delivery information (name, street address, door number, and telephone number). If the delivery is delayed or fails due to incorrect or incomplete information, the order will not be refunded.

Delivery in Greater Oslo and the rest of Norway:

  • Greater Oslo: We deliver personally and guarantee delivery on the requested date. We send an SMS to confirm that the recipient is available. If we do not receive a response to the SMS, the guarantee for delivery on the exact date no longer applies.

  • Rest of Norway: Delivery is handled by Bring (normally 1–3 business days). We cannot guarantee an exact date outside of Oslo. During holidays (Christmas/Easter), we recommend ordering well in advance due to high demand at the carrier.

Conflict Resolution: We encourage you to contact us directly if you have any questions or complaints. Should we fail to reach an agreement, you may direct a complaint to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) for mediation. For more information, visit www.forbrukertilsynet.no.
